Managing Shared Schedules
Shared Schedules are schedules that can be shared with all of your Pelican sites. To create a schedule that can be shared across multiple thermostats, you will want to use the Schedule Dashboard on your Pelican Web-App to create Shared Schedules.

How to Create a Shared Schedule
- Select Schedule Dashboard from the main screen of the Pelican Web-App.
- Select Add New + under Manage Shared Schedules.
- Assign a unique name to the newly created Shared Schedule. Select Save.
- Select the Repeat for this Shared Schedule. You can create Daily, Weekday/Weekend, or Weekly schedules.
- Daily: Each day of the week will follow the same schedule set times.
- Weekday/Weekend: From Monday to Friday the thermostats will follow a set of scheduled set times. On Saturday and Sunday they will follow a different set of scheduled times. This is known as a 5-2 schedule.
- Weekly: Each day of the week will follow its own scheduled set times. This is known as a 7-day schedule.
- Select the day(s) for which you would like to add schedules.
- Add your first set time by selecting + New Set Time. Set up this set time for what you want the thermostat to do when the time starts.
To edit the start time of the schedule, select Edit Time located in the top-right corner.
Using the slider bars, select the Set Time in hours (h) and minutes (m).
You have the option to select Optimum Start On or Off.
If Optimum Start is turned On, then the thermostat will calculate how to bring the space to the temperature settings at the selected time.
If Optimum Start is turned Off, then the thermostat will set the thermostat to the selected temperature settings at the selected time.
Select Done.
Using the slider bars, set the desired Heat Setting and Cool Setting.
Under System, select Auto, Heat or Cool. If set to Off, the system will be set to off and will not follow the schedule.
Set the Unoccupied Setback, if needed.
Tip: This will only be viewable if you have installed the Pelican thermostats with motion sensors.The Fan setting may be set as On or Auto.
Auto: The fan will be turned on when calling for heat or cool.
On: The fan will run continuously.
The Outside Ventilation setting may be set to Off or On. When set to On, the space will ventilate using outside air.
Note: This option is available if you have a Pearl Economizer installed.Select whether the Front Keypad of the thermostat should be set as Locked or Unlocked during this scheduled set time.
- Select + New Set Time to add additional scheduled times.

How to Link Shared Schedules Across All (or Some) Thermostats
Once you have created Shared Schedule(s) you can easily link the thermostat to that schedule. Once the thermostat is linked to a Shared Schedule, the schedule is uploaded into the thermostat. Changing the Shared Schedule updates the schedules for all thermostats that are linked to that Shared Schedule.
Select the drop-down button next to the thermostat that you want to link to a Shared Schedule. Once selected, notice that the name of the Shared Schedule will appear next to the thermostat.
For thermostats that you do not want associated with a Shared Scheduled, select the drop-down located to the right of the thermostat. Next, select on of the following options.
- Off: Not scheduled
- Custom: This thermostat has a unique schedule only it follows.
How to Rename, Copy, or Delete a Shared Schedule
- To rename, copy or delete a Shared Schedule, select a Shared Schedule.
- Select the Menu button in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select Rename, Copy or Delete, as desired.
How to Manage Shared Schedules
To manage your Shared Schedules, you can edit, add or delete Shared Schedules through Schedule Dashboard > Shared Schedules, or from a Pelican Site by navigating to Admin > Schedule Dashboard > Manage Shared Schedules.
