Types of Temperature Remote Devices
Temperature Display and Keypad
A Remote Device with a Temperature Sensor displays the current temperature as well as the active setting of the master thermostat. This allows you to be informed and minimizes confusion about the active settings.
The front keypad can be enabled to allow for local control of the HVAC system, or disabled to lock the front keypad to eliminate undesirable tampering.
Temperature-Only Mode
A Remote Device with Temperature Sensor can also be configured to provide only temperature monitoring in climate critical locations like computer server rooms or enclosed freezers. In this mode, the device continually tracks real-time temperature in the location where it is installed.
Remote Proximity/Occupancy Sensor
The Remote Proximity/Occupancy Sensor can be used to monitor occupancy to track occupied and unoccupied hours, which allows for additional scheduling features to more efficiently manage your building’s climate.
The Remote Sensor can also be used to monitor when doors and windows are open or closed.
