Understand Your Thermostat Settings

Pelican thermostats are virtual portals into each room of your building. Thermostats can be scheduled to accommodate different tenant’s comforts, while also providing you with a wide range of proactive virtual adjustments and information.

For a better understanding of thermostat settings, see below.

  • Space Status: At the very top-left we see the space status is either in an active status or a standby status.
    • Active status means the thermostat has engaged the air handling unit based on space demand.
    • Standby status means the thermostat’s space is within the accepted setpoint range.
  • CO2 Level and Humidity Level: If your Pelican thermostat is has a CO2 and/or Humidity sensor, at the bottom-right of the space status is the real-time CO2 level or Humidity level.
  • Space Temperature: At the top of the thermostat settings screen, the current space temperature is located at the top-right corner of the screen.
  • System: This allows you to set the thermostat to one (1) of four (4) different climate functions.
  • Fan: This allows you to set the fan to On or Auto.
  • Outside Ventilation: Is used during occupied hours and ventilation is required to meet the minimum ventilation position, or an opened damper position based on the set CO2 threshold.
  • Front Keypad: This allows you to lock or unlock the front keypad of the thermostat.
  • Humidity: This allows you to set the select the Max Humidity Setting, Min Humidity Setting, or the Humidity Range, depending on the humidity mode selected.
  • Schedule, Events Calendar, and Vacation Set Times: Each Pelican thermostat provides you with three (3) different scheduling options, depending on the type of schedule or event you would like to create.
  • History Graphs: Displays all historical data associated with a specific thermostat, such as space temperature trends over time.
  • Remote Devices: As remote devices are assigned to a master thermostat, this option will become available within Thermostat Settings.
